Here's an interesting thing to consider I found online: each brand uses different chemicals. Common allergens include acrylates, methacrylates, and components of natural rubber (latex) or rosins (colophony). So it is possible to be sensitive or allergic to a specific ingredient used in one brand but not in another's formulation.
